The Easy Dental App for Dentists — GoodCheckup
Here’s how to get started connecting with your patients
If you want to offer teledentistry benefits to your patients, you can start today!
And you don’t need to buy into a new office software package or invest in intraoral cameras to give to patients. In fact, no need to be in your office to use it. GoodCheckup is truly mobile to mobile, so you can offer your patients a great experience and free yourself from your office.
Here are the basic steps to get you going…right now!
First Download the App — It’s Free!

Next, Enter and Verify Your Phone Number
If this is your first time using the app, you start with a phone number. This should be the number of the phone you want to conduct your virtual dental consultations on.
You’ll get a text message with a confirmation code. You can type that in or tap (if your phone offers that feature) to automatically fill it in.

Enter your mobile number…

…along with the GoodCheckup verification code
Give the App Permissions
Once you have done this, you will be prompted to grant the app permissions. The app needs to use your audio and phone camera, and to be able to show you notifications in order to operate properly.

GoodCheckup is truly mobile-to-mobile, so it needs your permission to work.

Make sure you allow it to show notifications as well. You wouldn’t want to miss a session.
Set Your Office Hours
Tap on the button at the lower left of marked “Office Hours.”
You can then set up as many different “calendars” as you need. You can also change the appointment block duration and set breaks between appointments for yourself.
Within each calendar you can set different time windows, for example one block during the morning and one late afternoon — or whatever works best for you.

From your dentist home screen, one of the options is “Office Hours”

Set your time availability. Between different calendars and time options, you have tremendous flexibility.
Set Your Fees to What Makes Sense for YOU
GoodCheckup allows you to set different fees for emergency consultations, new patient appointments, and regular consultations.
Every practice is different, and so you have a wide range of choices, from $10 per virtual dental visit to $150.
We also show you what EXACTLY you will receive after the modest fees charged by credit card processors and the app.

Use the sliders to set your fees. This is not a “one size fits all” solution.

Confirm your fees when you save them and see EXACTLY what you will receive. No hidden costs here!
View Your Appointments and Your Virtual Dentist Office Waiting Room
Once your patient books and pays for an appointment (all payment details are handled with maximum security by Stripe payment service), you’ll see their appointment on your schedule.
You also will see if the patient has checked in for their appointment. Tapping on the Waiting room will show you which patient is waiting, and how long until their appointment is scheduled to start.

Your upcoming appointments, and whether someone has already checked in.

This waiting room only takes up the space on a phone, instead of square feet in your office.
